(GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – April 2, 2025) – Priority Health, a nationally recognized nonprofit health plan serving more than 1.3 members, and Get Well, a global leader in digital consumer health engagement, will partner to connect Medicaid members to available resources.
Priority Health will implement Get Well’s new screening service that captures member needs and then navigates them to appropriate resources and community-based organizations.
More than 250,000 Priority Health Medicaid members will receive text message-based surveys from Get Well in an effort to identify unmet needs that are impacting their overall health and well-being such as food insecurity, lack of transportation or unstable housing. Priority Health will then provide information on available community resources to address those specific needs.
“The health and well-being of our members requires more than just visits to the doctor,” said Shannon Wilson, vice president of population health for Priority Health. “We are committed to coming alongside our members with a more holistic approach by offering assistance and resources to improve their overall quality of life which contributes to better physical and mental health in the long run.”
Michael O’Neil, CEO of Get Well said: “We are thrilled to work with Priority Health to support their Medicaid beneficiaries and address their needs proactively and holistically. This partnership reinforces our shared commitment to delivering meaningful, digital interventions to improve whole- person health in the communities they serve.”
This solution addresses the more than 80 percent of health outcomes driven by non-clinical factors– such as physical environment and health behavior, O’Neil added.
